Dion Nicely is an accomplished and entrepreneurial leader in finance, operations and logistics who has nearly 20 years of combined experience in the US Coast Guard and the private sector. He is the Founder and President of Veterans Maritime, a maritime logistics and advisory company that transports government freight and energy products. Veterans Maritime also invests in and owns Jones Act compliant vessels under partnership with Military Sealift Command.
Previously, Mr. Nicely served as director of logistics and transportation for Bridger Logistics. He spent more than 12 years as an active duty officer in the US Coast Guard, serving on four vessels, including one tour as Commanding Officer of a Patrol Boat in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mr. Nicely currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bold Ocean, a US Flag maritime logistics business serving the US government.
